Our vision is to produce competent Biotechnologists who can employ premium processes and applications which will profoundly influence existing paradigm of agriculture, industry, healthcare and restoration of environment providing sustainable competitive edge to present society. Biotechnology is a frontline area of science with immense potential for the benefit of the human kind. To impart strong theoretical as well as practical knowledge to students in the field of Biotechnology so that they will be able to apply this multidisciplinary knowledge to field situation Enhance efficiency and productivity and cost-effectiveness of agriculture, molecular medicine, environmentally sustainable technologies, enhance the knowledge base, nurturing. To create awareness about potentials of Biotechnology with socio-ethical implications. To enhance skill of the students by training to excel in bio-industry. To promote the development of different assays and methods related to the field of biotechnology. Students should excel in all aspects of academic activity Programmes – UG (BtCB, BtCZ)

Advanced instruments like PCR(Thermocycler), GelDoc., Cooling centrifuge, UV spectrophotometer, Electrophoresis are used by the students to perform biotechnological experiments. Students are trained in pathological diagnostic tests (WIDAL, VDRL, Agglutination test, diffusion methods, ELISA, Blood Group, Biochemical analysis of Blood and Urine) which are helpful for them in their employment & entrepreneurship. Students are encouraged to prepare working models of syllabus related topics to make them understand the subject in a better way. |
