Department of Bioinformatics
Department of Bioinformatics established in Govt. Madhav Science college Ujjain in 2008, with 8 students and at present more than 150 students are register. In College bioinformatics is a part of two different subject combination. One with Bioinformatics-Zoology-Chemistry and Bioinformatics- Pharma chemistry-zoology. Bioinformatics subject take steps for fulfilment of aim which provide a platform to students specially biology stream to grow up and develop their brain and bale to choose higher education and research for their future. Department have full equipped laboratory which a great work experience to students. Faculty with different work specialization helps students to work their project in different area of bioinformatics. |
Research Area: Molecular modelling Drug designing Molecular dynamics Genome Sequence analysis Structure and functional analysis
During last 5year 7 research paper are published.
For proving best access of database and computation work department have high speed computer with high speed internet facilities as well as ICT enables laboratory.

Faculty Dr. Shobha shoche is Co-ordinator and Mr. Ravikant Yadav and Mr. Pradeep Saini, Guest Faculty of department. Out of two guest faculty one is registered for PhD in Vikram University Ujjain.
